• Improved speaker drivers

Redesigned custom mid-woofers not only achieve more extension and definition on the low end, but also improve the midrange clarity and articulation. Thanks to the lighter and stiffer moving mass, MKII's mid-woofers reveals every little detail in the mid range allowing an improved and more critical listening experience that ultimately results in faster and more accurate mixing.

• Improved off-axis and in-room response

Controlled vertical dispersion is one of the key factors for the original iLoud MTM design. This has been maintained on the MKII as it allows to minimise the bad interactions than can occur with non-acoustically treated ceiling or desks providing more focus and neutrality. However the horizontal dispersion has been considerably improved with the MKII, allowing for a broader sweet spot and a smoother in-room response.

• Improved power efficiency and SPL

The overall power management of the speaker has been improved and iLoud MTM MKII is able to deliver a higher maximum SPL compared to its predecessor.

• Higher onboard processing power, improved DSP

The onboard processing power has almost doubled with respect to the one on the original iLoud MTM. The speaker now operates at 96 kHz, the entire DSP processing works at higher precision delivering more transparency and resolution, the ARC correction is now directly derived from the Precision series and supports X-Monitor virtual voicing.

Featuring the same technology and correction algorithms from our flagship speakers, the iLoud Precision series, MTM MKII is able to deliver unmatched definition and translation reliability in virtually any environment.

iLoud MTM MKII offers built-in acoustic self-calibration via the ARC™ reference microphone, to automatically adjust the frequency response to its placement. Just set up the monitors, put the microphone in your preferred listening position, press a button and you’ll instantly have a custom calibration for the sweet spot of your listening environment.

Plus of course you can adjust low-frequency extension and trim the LF and HF response to your taste.

Adjust your angle in any situation

It’s often overlooked – your studio monitors’ tweeters need to point at your ears. This is even more critical in modern studios where more and more musicians are using them at very close distances, like on a desktop beside their laptop or computer screen.

iLoud MTM includes a tilting mount that not only helps isolate it, but also angles from 0° to 20° for correct positioning in a wide range of setups. That’s higher than most other “tilting” monitors, that too often can’t actually reach the needed angle for a desktop or other close-listening setup.

iLoud MTM also includes a rubber base for horizontal placement, and a bottom thread to mount conveniently on mic stands, for more installation options.

Combined with their symmetrical design and phase-coherent response, iLoud MTM allows for ultra-focused and accurate monitoring anywhere.

Digitally-controlled for precision audio

iLoud MTM uses audiophile-grade high resolution algorithms and the top-of-the line A/D converters to carefully manage cross-overs, filtering, time alignment, equalization, dynamics control and auto-calibration. Totally DSP-controlled and precision time-aligned, iLoud MTM also manages the off-axis response to manage the effects of room reverberations.
